The Jesse Smith Library does not have a writing group at this time. If you are interested in joining one of the groups when meetings resume, or if you are interested in organizing a writers' group at our library, please call us at (401) 568-8244.

Writers' Groups

The Writers Circle. Admission is by invitation only. Programs meet in Providence and Warwick, RI. The Circle is a non-profit charitable center for writers, founded in 1993. Please call 401.461.6691 or email TheWritersCircle@aol.com for more information.

Harris Public Library, Woonsocket, RI

Creative Writing Group meets Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

Writing Without Boundaries meets Saturdays at 10 a.m.

Written Word Writing Group meets Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.

Healing Through Poetry meets Mondays from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Teen Writers' Group for teen writers in grades 6 through 12.
Meets once a month, usually on Wednesday from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
