Borrowing and Circulation Policy:
A patron must have a valid OSL card to borrow any library materials. Any applicant for an OSL card under the age of 14 years requires a parent or guardian signature.
Print Materials:
- May be borrowed for 3 weeks unless otherwise stated.
- May be returned to the book drop or any member library.
- May be renewed 1 time unless the item is on reserve,is more than 2 weeks overdue, or is borrowed from another library. (Material from other libraries may be renewed once.)
- Borrower will be fined for overdue items at 10 cents per item for each day the library is open with a maximum fine not to exceed the replacement cost of the item.
- Borrower will be fined replacement costs for lost or damaged items.
Audio Cassettes
- May be borrowed for 3 weeks.

- Videos cannot be renewed.
- Borrower will be fined daily for overdue items at $2.00 per item for each day the library is open with a maximum fine not to exceed the replacement cost of the item.
- Borrower will be fined replacement costs for lost or damaged items.
Borrowing Priveleges may be suspended for:
- Unreturned overdue items at maximum renewels borrowed from any OSL library
- Unpaid lost/damaged item(s) borrowed from any OSL library
- Unpaid overdue fines exceeding $5.00 at any or all OSL libraries

Glocester Libraries
Policy for Internet and World Wide Web Access
The Glocester Libraries Policy for Internet and World Wide Web Access conforms to the Internet Safety Policy requirements of the Neighborhood Children's Internet Protection Act (NCIPA) under the current Federal Communications Commission ruling.
The Glocester Manton Library and the Harmony Library offer Internet and World Wide Web access to all patrons, adults and minors, as part of their missions to expand their informational resources. The Libraries are unable to review, monitor and control the content found on the Internet. The Libraries strongly urge users to never rely solely on information found on the Internet, as this information is not always accurate, complete, or legal. In addition, all users must comply with all federal and State laws governing computing resources. These include, for example, laws of tampering and hacking,privacy, obscenity, and child pornography.
Some Internet sites may contain language, sexually graphic images, or material considered "inappropriate" to minors.Parents and guardians of children under the age of 18 are responsible for their children's use of the Internet. The libraries assume no liability. The libraries' staffs reserve the right to terminate the user's access session when the user has failed to comply with this policy or any other library policy. Local police will be contacted for unlawful activities.
- Users must comply with federal and state laws and the Library's rules when using computing resources.
- Users, especially minors, should not disclose personal information on the Internet.
- All Internet users must register at the circulation desk and possess a valid CLAN card.
- Computer use is available on a first-come, first serve basis.

The Friends of the Glocester Manton Free Public Library invite you to become a member.
Our purpose is:
- to maintain an association of persons interested in libraries
- to focus public attention on the library
- to stimulate the use of the library's resources and services
- to encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests to the library
- to support and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facilities for the community
- to lobby on behalf of the library
- and, to perform such other functions as may advance the mission of the library
