A.    Mello Program Room - The Mello Program Room is available to local civic, cultural and educational organizations subject to approval of the Library Director.  The Library and Library Association will have priority in scheduling.  A detailed policy is available in the Library.

B.    Study Rooms - The Portsmouth Free Public Library maintains two (2) quiet Study Rooms for the benefit of serious readers and students.  These rooms are open to all patrons and may be scheduled in advance by calling or visiting the Library.  No more than two (2) people may use one room at a time.  A computer is available in each Study Room with Internet access and Microsoft Word.  As with all computers in the Library, a parental permission form must be signed for those patrons under 18.  Inappropriate behavior may result in the loss of the use of the room.  Patrons wanting to use a Study Room must sign up at the Reference Desk.

C.    Portsmouth Room - The Portsmouth Room is normally a quiet study area.  It may be booked at the Reference Desk for small group meetings or activities.  Meetings held in this room follow the same policies as those of the Mello Program Room.
