The Jesse M. Smith Memorial Library
Circulating Passes Program
In an effort to help make family and educational attractions more accessible and affordable, the library has established a collection of circulating passes to various museums and regional attractions. These passes may be used by our patrons to obtain free or reduced admission rates.
The passes are available to all CLAN library card holders over the age of 18, who have no overdue materials or other "blocks" on their cards.
Patrons who are Burrillville residents may reserve the passes in advance.
Non-Burrillville-resident patrons may borrow the passes on an "as available" basis for same or next day use.
Please read the General Regulations for more detailed information about the library's borrowing policy.
Presently the library offers passes to:

| Founded in 1929, Mystic Seaport is the largest and most comprehensive maritime museum in North America. Here you can sail or row exact replicas of traditional wooden boats, cruise in an antique steamboat, participate in formal classes, ride a horse-drawn carriage, star gaze in the planetarium, or spend the day climbing aboard ships or just meandering along beautiful riverfront gardens.
The range of activities takes place within a 40-acre property that houses the Collections Research Center, graduate and undergraduate campuses and more than one million artifacts, many of them the only surviving examples of their kind. A trained staff is stationed throughout the magnificent 17-acre historic waterfront including the berthed ships, the exhibits of art and artifacts and the nearly 40 historic buildings to answer questions, demonstrate traditional skills and share stories of people who are long gone but can still tell us something new.
Mystic Seaport is open daily, year-round except Christmas Day.
The Museum is open 9:00 to 5:00 from April through October, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from November through March.
