What is an Elder Information Specialist?

The Elder Information Specilist is trained to address a wide range of questions and concerns about programs and services available to seniors of the community.

The Elder Information Specialist can provide information about such things as RIPAE, transportation, housing, senior employment, health insurance, heating assistance, Department of Elderly Affairs I.D. cards, homemaking services, and the Senior Companion Program, and much, much more.

Ann Glew, the Elder Information Specialist serving the communities of Burrillville, Glocester, Smithfield, and North Providence can help you find the answers to your questions. Her office is located in the Salvatore Mancini Center on Aging, and she can be reached Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by phoning 401-231-0742.
