Grand Opening Day: 27 April 2008 |
You can be part of history...
In 1933, Austin T. Levy, local mill owner and philanthropist, began the project which transformed our town. Today, the construction of the new Jesse M. Smith Memorial Library is proceeding apace, and like Mr. Levy's project, it will again transform our town. This extraordinary new building will have a river walk, public meeting halls, multiple reading areas more space, more computers, more seating, more parking more everything!
But the difference between it being a good library and great library will be made by individuals who are committed to supporting the new library, now and in years to come. Please take a few minutes now to look over our Project web pages and find out how you can contribute to the project. Your contributions today will make you and your family, like Austin T. Levy, part of our town's history.
Thank you!
