Library Board of Trustees

The operation of the library is overseen by a five member board appointed by the Burrillville Town Council.

Board Meeting Schedule

Regular meetings of the Board are scheduled for the first Thursdays of September, November, February , & May. The September meeting is the annual meeting.

Special Committees of the Board

Events Committee

The five-member Events Committee approves and coordinates any public events proposed to the library and which are to be held in the library or on library grounds. The committee may also propose, plan, schedule, and oversee any public library events that the committee deems appropriate.

The Events Committee is comprised of three trustees, one of them the Chairman, plus two at-large members appointed by vote of the board, and a library staff person designated by the Library Director.
