Save Your Planet! This fall at Jesse Smith library...
The Jesse Smith Library is one of many Rhode Island public libraries collaborating with the URI Fall 2008 Honors Colloquium to bring about public discussion of human-caused global change, its consequences, and potential response.
We will be forming a local People & Planet Book Discussion Group to meet once a month during the fall to read and discuss titles recommended by the Colloquium, and, at the end of the series, a scholar from URI will visit our group to lead a rountable discussion of the issues raised by our readings.
Please be sure to sign up for this important discussion series at the library's Circulation Desk. A limited number of copies of the discussion books will be available for participants to borrow.
