Welcome to Hope Library's Kids' Page!
upcoming program and movie announcements.)
Before you explore the
Web, we have a few safety
tips...
1. Never give your name, address, phone
number,
school address or parent's work number to anyone you meet "on-line".
2. Don't arrange to meet anyone you meet
on-line
unless you have your parents' permission and then only meet them in a
public
place
WITH an adult you can trust.
3. Always tell an adult you trust if something
on-line scares you or if you find something you don't understand.
4. Sometimes people create Web Sites that may
have information that is not reliable or true. All of the sites we have
included have been
checked by a staff member
or a reliable source.

Looking for a way to get information? A "Search
Engine" is software made to help find stuff on the Internet. Just enter
a word or phrase and let it do the
searching for you! Try
using one of these...
