Circulation Policies
- Getting a Library Card
·
You must apply in person.
· You must show some form of identification that verifies your
current address such as a driver's license or other
form of ID
· You may use your new card immediately.
· Your card will be up for renewal either
every 6 months or every 12 months. At that time you will be asked to show proof of address and to clear all charges
against your card. Do not discard your card as you will be using the same card for
multiple renewals.
· If your card is lost or stolen you
must notify us immediately so that we may cancel it. Otherwise, you are responsible for all items on that card up until the time of
cancellation.
· To replace a lost or damaged card you must pay a
$1.00 fee and show proof of address.
· All patrons, adult and juvenile, are
expected to bring their library cards with them if they intend to check out items. An individual who repeatedly ignores this
expectation may be denied the privilege of checking out materials until they present their card
at the library.
