WORLD WIDE WEB SAFETY RULES FOR KIDS
The World Wide Web is a great place, but you should remember these safety rules.
- Don't give out personal information (address, phone number, parent's work address/phone number or the name of your school) without your parent's permission.
- Tell your parents right away if you come across any information that makes you feel uncomfortable.
- Never agree to get together with anyone you "meet" online without first checking with your parents.
- Do not respond to any messages that are mean or make you feel uncomfortable. Tell your parents right away if you get any of these messages.
- If you get stuck or can't find what you are looking for, please ask a librarian for help.
