Story Times

The Narragansett Public Library holds a preschool story time for families with children ages 3-5 years old.   Wednesday mornings at 10:30 is our special time. Registration is required. We strive to provide a quality program that will acquaint preschoolers to the library, to books and to a structured program. Parents can register. Sign up is requested. Preschoolers will enjoy stories, songs, craft and snack for 45 minutes. Register by phone or in person.  Each session runs five to six weeks. The Library invites you to join us for our version of story time for toddlers.  Children between the age of 12 and 36 months are welcome to sign up .  The program involves stories, rhymes, songs and action games that encourage children's language development and love of reading.  The parent and child participate together with the Children's Librarian.
