Volunteer Opportunities

The Society needs your help to preserve Portsmouth’s History.  If you are interested in volunteering for any of the following, please e-mail us at PortsmouthHistorical@yahoo.com or call 401-683-9178.  Please provide your contact information and state how you wish to help.  Please be aware that during the winter months, your call may not be immediately returned but we will contact you as soon as possible.
 
Docents are needed to greet visitors during our open season (2-4 pm on Sundays from Memorial Day – Columbus Day).  Please state which date(s) you are interested in volunteering for.
 
“Mr. Fix-it”.  Several of display cases need repair.
